Delaware – Stock Epinephrine Law
Congratulations! Delaware has a stock epinephrine law in place, Chapter 342, which amends Title 16 of the Delaware Code relating to emergency medication in schools. This law was signed by Governor Markell on July 21, 2014.
However, our job is not done yet. Each law or regulation must be implemented or put into action by a board or an agency.
Allergy & Asthma Network supports stock epinephrine implementation in schools and provides education and resources to support a seamless rollout. For more information, visit:

ACE Team Activities:
Dr. Kalman has completed many advocacy activities, including obtaining stock epinephrine for schools and advocating for passage of evidence-based anaphylaxis-related legislation. She impacted legislation in both Pennsylvania and Delaware, changed anaphylaxis policies and procedures, and increased anaphylaxis awareness. Delaware’s stock epinephrine bill passed in record time: 13 days from introduction to landing on the Governor’s desk.
