Georgia – Stock Epinephrine Law

Congratulations!  Georgia has an act in place for using epinephrine in emergency situations.

However, our job is not done yet. Each law or regulation must be implemented or put into action by a board or an agency.

In April 2015, Center for Allergy and Asthma of Georgia posted a blog article titled, “Are You Using Your EpiPen Correctly?”

Dr. Stanley Fineman presented, “Current challenges in the management of patients with anaphylaxis” during the Eleventh at the Eleventh International Congress of the Egyptian Society of Pediatric Allergy & Immunology held April 8-9, 2015 in Cairo, Egypt. 

In December 2014, Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Clinic posted a blog article titled, “Holiday Allergy Tips”.

In May 2014, in honor of Food Allergy Awareness Week, Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Clinic promoted the need for people with life-threatening allergies to carry epinephrine everywhere, every day. Each of the 19 clinics held a contest which encouraged people to carry their epinephrine.
