Virginia – Stock Epinephrine Law

Congratulations! Virginia has a law in place requiring local school boards to adopt and implement policies for the possession and administration of epinephrine in every school.

However, our job is not done yet. Each law or regulation must be implemented or put into action by a board or an agency.

Sample ACE Team Activities:
In 2015, Dr. Kim met with approximately 100 primary care physicians and staff  during 8 anaphylaxis lunch and learn programs.

On July 11, 2015, Dr. Butt staffed a table at the YMCA Health Fair in Fredericksburg, VA. He spoke about food allergies with approximately 15-20 participants and 5 health providers who were in attendance.

In March 2015, Dr. Thyragarajan was interviewed by CBS6 in Richmond about exciting studies about preventing peanut allergies.

On December 16, 2015, Dr. Thyragarajan wrote a blog article titled “Food Allergies and Product Labeling” and posted it on practice website.
