Vital Partnerships for Patients, Caregivers & Physicians: Shared Decision Making in Immunotherapy
Dr Bukstein will discuss a problem based learning case with  peers followed by a lecture that will update you on two important aspects of this: 1) new vs traditional options for therapy and 2) how to have an optimal “shared decision making” discussion with your patients (recently felt to be the most valuable & effective method to improve adherence in any disease state). You will be provided with a link to  a hard copy of a cutting edge “Shared Decision Making Aid” that was just approved for use by the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology to begin using with your patients.
